Day 4 - Pea soup!

Oh my god! I'm fairly sure I don't think I've ever seen fog as thick as this! I'm absolutely sure I've never been skiing in said fog!

Once we got to the middle station on the mountain we discovered the fog and lack of visibility. Here, the fog must have been down to about 30 metres. As soon as group C (my group) got to the top of the mountain, we discovered the visibility was down to about 10 metres. If you were too slow and lost sight of the person in front you had to guess where to 'drive' to get to the bottom of the slope. Scary stuff! When I finally get the photos up here, you'll see what I mean...

By the afternoon, all groups had made their way up the mountain into the fog. Not everyone was entirely in their comfort zone. All in all, a tiring day. At least we didn't get too hot!

The evening's entertainment was provided by the swimming pool in Wörgl. Various slides, wave machines and jacuzzis went down well, which is more than I can say about the unisex changing rooms! Talk about cutural differences...

The swimming was more than enough to tire everyone about, but also eased the aching muscles. The leg burn was starting to ease off by now.

Today was the last day at our current resort as we were starting to lose the snow and, due to it's size, were running out of slopes to come down. For Thursday, we were moving to a much larger resort with many more slopes of various ability, which everone was looking forward to.

More sleep required!
